Buying fabric, step 12 of 13
Check metres, width, weight and shade; cut a trial
Then claim or accept, and pay.
Measure the metres, the width and the weight roll by roll, check the shade against the shade band and the sealed sample, and send a cutting from bulk for the shrinkage and colour fastness tests the order names. Do it the week the rolls arrive and before the cut trial, because a claim depends on a test made in time: faults found in the cut trial are a claim, faults found after the cloth is cut are your cost.
