Production, with in-line and final inspection
Woven cloth is inspected on the four point system: defects score points, and the contract caps the points per hundred square metres.
The inspector is paid by you and reports to you, before the goods leave. On a first order it is cheap insurance; the desk arranges it and you pay the agency directly, so the person deciding whether the goods ship works for the only party who loses if they should not.
