Ask three to five mills
Spec, colours, lab dips, packing, term, payment and dates, the same to every mill.
The quote form asks for exactly this list, and our desk sends one specification to checked suppliers so the answers come back on one basis. Ask more than one seller, always: two offers is a comparison, one offer is a price you cannot judge.
What a bad answer looks like: a price per metre with no construction, no finished width and no weight, or “as per your sample” with no shade band, no minimum per colour and no date.
