Fabric
Greige and finished woven fabric, denim, knits and home textile cloth to a spec.
Fabric is specified by yarn count, construction, width and weight, then by the finish on it. Greige fabric comes off the loom or the knitting machine unfinished; finished fabric has been bleached, dyed or printed and set to width. The raw material desk quotes both from checked weaving, knitting and processing mills. Greige fabric explained walks the terms.
