Plain terms for using this website and working with us. Where something limits what you can expect from us, it is said directly rather than buried.
Who you are dealing with
VeriMills is a trading name of DW Bridging & Commodity Trading, Karachi, Pakistan. In these terms, "we" and "VeriMills" mean that business.
What this website is
It describes what we do and lets you send us an enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to anything. Any actual engagement is agreed separately in writing.
What we are, and what we are not
We are an intermediary. We introduce buyers to suppliers and we help specify, compare and follow up. We do not buy or sell the goods. Any contract of sale is between you and the mill or factory, and the goods, the payment and the shipping documents move directly between you and them.
We hold no stock. We give no credit. We provide no escrow and we never hold your money. We are not a bank, a freight forwarder, an insurer or an inspection agency.
Fees
Buyers pay us nothing for enquiries, introductions or quotes. Where a fee is payable it is paid by the supplier, on a basis agreed with that supplier in writing. Advisory work is quoted separately in writing before it starts.
Information and quotes
Prices, lead times and capacity we pass on come from suppliers. We check what we reasonably can and we tell you how far that checking went, using the verification tiers described on the sourcing page. We cannot guarantee a supplier's statements, and a quote is not binding until the supplier confirms it to you directly.
Anything published in the market data section is indicative reference information. It is not an offer, not a tradeable quote and not an index, and it should not be used as the sole basis for a commercial decision.
What we are not responsible for
We are not liable for the performance of any supplier, for the quality, quantity or timing of goods, or for any loss arising from a contract between you and a supplier. That is the direct consequence of not being party to that contract, and it is why we tell you to contract and pay the mill directly and to have goods independently inspected.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited under the law that applies.
Conduct
We do not pay or accept facilitation payments, kickbacks or personal commissions in connection with any introduction we make. If anyone asks you for one, tell us. We will stop working with them.
Your content
Information you send us stays yours. We use it to answer your enquiry as described in the privacy page. Do not send us anything confidential that you would not want a supplier to see in technical form, and do not send passwords, bank details or identity documents.
This website
The text, images and design on this site are ours. Links to other websites are provided for your convenience and we are not responsible for what is on them. We may change this site at any time, and we do not guarantee it will always be available.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Pakistan and the courts of Karachi have jurisdiction, unless a separate signed agreement between us says otherwise. [TO CONFIRM]
