What these numbers are, and what they are not
These are indicative reference levels collected from mills and traders in the named origins. They are not offers, not tradeable quotes and not an index. Actual prices depend on quantity, quality, payment terms and delivery period. Always confirm with the mill before committing.
We publish what we were actually quoted, with the date it was quoted. We do not publish anything taken from a paid data service, because that data belongs to the people who collected it. Where a public source is better than ours, we link to it on the sources board instead of copying it.
